Indian & Pakistani Clothes Under $25
Everything on this page costs $25 or less, and it's the same shop: new pieces, all their photos and, for most, the measurements in inches. Most are kurtis in cotton, viscose, silk and linen, with shalwars, palazzo pants, gharara pants and dupattas to match, and a few silk 2-piece suits. Indian and Pakistani shoppers alike can put together a kurti and shalwar for $40 or less, or find a single dupatta to refresh something they already own.

Ask ShaguftaWhat $25 buys here
The biggest group is kurtis: embroidered cotton kurtis with self print, pearl or mirror work, viscose kurtis with chikankari or sequin fronts, and silk kurtis, both short and long. Then come the separates: cotton and tulip shalwars, lace-trimmed pants, palazzo pants and gharara pants, plus organza, ajrak and chunri print dupattas.
Some complete outfits come in under $25 too, such as the silk 2-piece suits, a lawn suit with a chiffon dupatta and a girls' cotton 3-piece. Everything here is new, and you can ask Shagufta for a video of any piece before you decide.
Kurti, kurta or tunic top?
Shagufta lists many tops as Kurti / Top or Kurti / Kurta because shoppers use all of these words. In the US a kurti is often called a tunic top, and in India and Pakistan a kurta is usually a little longer than a kurti.
On this page the lengths run from a 31-inch cotton peplum top to 47-inch silk tunics, so the length on each listing tells you more than the name. The kurti vs kurta guide explains the difference.
Sizes on a budget
A low price is only a good buy if the piece fits. Sizes here run from XS to 2XL, and many of the kurtis are medium with a chest of about 40 inches. Measure a top you own across the chest, double it, and compare with the listing; the size guide walks you through it.
The shalwars and palazzo pants list their length and, where Shagufta has noted it, the sizes they fit, such as small to medium or medium to XL. Dupattas are one size, so they are the easiest buy of all if you're unsure.
Making a full outfit for less
Pair a self-print cotton kurti with the black cotton pants or a white tulip shalwar for work, or a short silk kurti with gharara pants and an organza dupatta for a party. Prices are for the piece, and shipping is worked out separately.
Put two or three pieces in your bag and send them in one WhatsApp message. Shagufta confirms the order and gives you one shipping cost for everything before she sends it from Jersey City.
