Petite salwar suits and small kurtis

In Indian shops these are petite salwar suits or XS kurtis; in Pakistani shops, small size suits or an extra small 2-piece. What changes is the measurement, not the style: the same embroidered lawn, linen and silk you'll find across the shop, in sizes where the chest is about 34 to 39 inches.

Fabrics in small sizes

Many of the small suits are lawn, from a branded airjet lawn dress with an embroidered neck to a doria lawn maxi dress with embroidered patches, so they are light enough for warm days. For cooler months there is a mustard cotton dress with sequin work and a Monar dupatta, and a beige linen dress with neck embroidery and a linen dupatta.

Length and fit for petite women
